Install the latest WordPress Version when downloading the Backup with the All-in-One WP Migration Plugin

When you backup your sites from another host to migrate to SeekaHost, always make sure to use the latest WordPress version and All-in-One WP Migration Plugin for your website backup.

We do run the latest version of WordPress on our servers and the backup you download needs to be compatible as otherwise your backup cannot be uploaded in the SeekaHost App when you move your site.

When you go into your WordPress Dashboard, go into your All-In-One WP Migration plugin and upload your backup file, which needs to be the right format as explained, via the plugin. SeekaHost has configured this plugin to be the version that will support files exceeding the file size limit that you would encounter if you used the free version.

We advise you to also store the latest backup of your websites on your computer or any external drive as an additional backup.
